What's Got You Hooked?

It's never easy to think of things to write about in one's blog. Especially when there are so many others out there successfully writing and owning the blog post market.

It's okay, I know I'm winging it. *winks satirically*

But, I did have this one idea, and I kinda like it.

What's got you hooked? What are you Binge Watching right now?

I mean, I tend to go back re-watch full seasons of my favourites. For instance, I just got through the full set of 'The New Girl' again. *laughs in remembrance* ah, I love that show.

But there is one show that I have always wanted to watch and just, never really got around to it until this year - Once Upon a Time. You know the one. The Evil Queen, Snow White... all the greats crammed into one television series that at times, just didn't make sense. Especially after they injected a little Cruella into the mix.

Why though?

But, I'm still in it for the long haul. Despite the fact that the deepest part of my fan girl really wishes that they would stick more closely to the Grimm's original fairytales. I get it though. I know why, it isn't like the entire reference is lost on me. And I mean, the season where Elsa, Anna and Kristoff came into it was pretty awesome. They really nailed their parts.

*Giggle sighs* Kristoff...

I guess I am just an absolute w***e for no hopers. *Laughs maniacally*

Which is why I am always left wanting the stories told closest to their original writings.

So Dark. I'm just here for that... you know?

Of course, there are the ever popular series...

The Witcher - even though we have to wait forever for the next season to be released.

Bridgerton - just... season 2? What?

The Crown - Yeah... okay.

Handmaid's Tale - Literally fell asleep in the first twenty minutes... never could get into it. I've tried okay! Give me a break!

But - CURSED - like, will there be a second season? I was so into that show. So into it. I just can't stand the Antici... pation.

I can really get into a King Arthur Trope. I mean, its my dream to be in that world... kind of.

To be honest, there have been some really great, on the darker side of happiness types of shows out there lately. And yeah, some of them can be really predictable (Midnight Mass... *cough cough*) but they are still pretty enjoyable, considering.

It is difficult at times, especially being an author, as most of the time there are plot lines that are so simple to figure out, I'm not left reeling but rather fist pumping the air and screaming "I knew it!"

I mean, just how adorable is that?

I seriously must be one of the hardest people to watch television with. Honestly.

And to be honest, I am left wishing there was more and better content out there all the time. But, I guess I will just have to write it myself *wink wink*.

There was one show however that had me hooked from the start, and I really hope they are making a season two. 'The Stranded' is absolutely brilliant. Get it in you, seriously. And, I was never once able to predict what was happening, which is just about as close as I can get to being surprised.

What are you watching, that you think this author could really get into?

You know, while I wait for all the new seasons of all the shows that I have been bingeing.

In the mean time... it's back to bingeing my favourite slayer...
